Lessons from my 20s
As I step into my 30s, I have been reflecting on some of the invaluable lessons my 20s have taught me. Sharing my top lessons that shaped my journey so far:
-
Your fight in this world is with your own inner self. Never compare yourself with others! It’s easier said than done, but sooner you learn, the better. Life is about discovering yourself. Rather than thinking “how can I become like elon musk (etc.)”, think how I can find myself!
-
The secret to success is None! Stop searching for the hidden sauce and start Now! You will only see next 2-3 steps and can never see complete path to your destination. So, have courage to take the next step. You will eventually figure out the remaining path!
-
Law of Attraction is True! Everything starts from your Beliefs! “If you think you can or If you think you can’t- You are always right”. Journey to success begins from your belief in your own self.
-
Figure out your limiting thoughts and work on fixing those slowly but definitely! Your self limiting thoughts are one of the core fundamental reason which is stopping you to move to next level in your life.
-
There’s a difference between “knowing” something and “deeply internalising” something. For example, we all know we should do morning walk or gym etc. But how many of us actually do it? It’s because you haven’t yet deeply internalised this thought, yet!
-
Last but not the least, no matter how many such posts / books you read - It’s highly unlikely you will truly understand these deeply until you are ready to learn these as per your life experiences! So stay calm, keep learning - such lessons will resonate with you when you are prepared to learn these lessons!
To everyone in their 20s or those reflecting back on that era: What have been the most powerful lessons for you? Let’s share and learn from each other!
